Has anyone made the stays from Simplicity 3635 (now out of print)? Any comments on how it went? I need new stays and I was contemplating using this pattern as a base. It looks fairly easy and relatively period (mid 18th C.) in shape. I know I'll have to edit any pattern, but I'd rather not start with something bad and try to make it better...
I ordered a mannequin, and I'll have to pad it out, but that should help it to be a little more squish-able for slightly easier self-fitting.
